Saluda High School's Teacher Cadets made their first observational visit to Saluda Primary School. For the majority of the Cadets, this was a return to their first school that they personally attended. It was remarked by Kelby Rodgers that "this seems much smaller than I remember." Over the course of an hour, the Cadets had moved from watching in the seats at the side or back of the room to moving around from student to student or working alongside the kids asking questions and building relationships. At 9:10, as the group gathered for departure in the lobby, many of the Cadets emerged from their assigned classrooms with smiles and accolades of loving the experience so much they didn't want to leave.
