Clinton High School Cadets, under the direction of instructor Elizabeth Lusby, presented their Big Books to a special needs class. Both the Cadets and their audience members enjoyed the subtle messages on self-esteem. Following the read-alouds in the school's auditorium, the Cadets and their friends enjoyed milk and cookies in the cafeteria. This was a wonderful opportunity for the Cadets to interact with special needs students and further build valuable relationships.
