Spartanburg Sr. High School Teacher Cadets wrote and performed puppet shows on self-esteem for administrators, teachers, and staff. The Cadets will also perform their shows for the Kindergarten classes at local Pine Street Elementary. Shout out to Ms. Angela Eaton and the Spartanburg Sr. High TC class!

[email protected] Elizabeth Lusby's Cadets are keeping busy by supporting school programs and getting out in their community! The Cadets designed a poster and made handouts to distribute for the Clinton High School Open House. The theme was Tips for Parents and Teens. During a visit to Joanna-Woodson Elementary, Principal Eddie Marshall led the Cadets on a tour of the school. The Cadets also visited the Clinton Public Library where Caitlin Bellinger, Laurens County Children's Librarian, worked with them on strategies for reading books to children. BY HEATHER HARMON Saluda High School's Teacher Cadets made their first observational visit to Saluda Primary School. For the majority of the Cadets, this was a return to their first school that they personally attended. It was remarked by Kelby Rodgers that "this seems much smaller than I remember." Over the course of an hour, the Cadets had moved from watching in the seats at the side or back of the room to moving around from student to student or working alongside the kids asking questions and building relationships. At 9:10, as the group gathered for departure in the lobby, many of the Cadets emerged from their assigned classrooms with smiles and accolades of loving the experience so much they didn't want to leave. |
